OUR HISTORY
1930s
Here was born one of the greatest historians that the interior of São Paulo has ever known: Florêncio de Aguiar. With his business acumen since childhood, the well-known "Grandpa Florêncio" used his learning to, while still young, acquire his first truck and travel Brazil selling potatoes. On these many trips, he got to know and experience the best that the country has to offer: its people and their work. With this experience, years later, he decided to venture into coffee farming. That's where it all began.
The story continues in the 2000s.
Years passed, and his business acumen and unwavering humility led him to become mayor of the small town of São Sebastião da Grama, where he owned his plantations. The 2000s arrived after many years of expanding his farms and successful businesses, and his first farm transformed into a group of five coffee-producing properties. In 2003, Fazenda Nova Era was acquired by Mr. Florêncio.
The friendship between father and son
In 2002, the unique friendship between father and son led the son, now a lawyer, to learn from his father through the daily work in the fields. The hardships, the hands-on work, and the relentless labor transformed Florencio de Aguiar Filho into a great coffee grower. During the years of work until his father's passing in 2016, Fazenda Nova Era continuously expanded its productive capacity, transforming coffee cultivation into something unique. Here begins our new era.
The New Era
In 2017, the farm's new era began with investments in equipment for drying and processing coffee, all developed and studied to allow for the construction of the best possible structure, guaranteeing sustainability and the maintenance of natural reserves within the more than 80 hectares of plantation. In 2021, the entire farm became exclusively powered by solar panels. With the structure ready, machines capable of pulping the coffee, and the fauna and flora constantly conserved, we achieve daily what has always been Mr. Florêncio's dream: to produce the best and most special coffee beans for you .
